📘 Installation & Add-On Service Policy

To ensure service quality and avoid liability disputes, MTT enforces the following policy on installation and additional services:

✅ Not All Delivery Teams Are Certified Installers

Some drivers or delivery personnel are not trained installers, and therefore will not perform the following services unless officially arranged:

  • Wall-mounting TVs
  • Product unboxing
  • Appliances installations or setup

This is to prevent accidental damage and ensure safety compliance.

✅ Service Is Only Provided If Pre-booked

  • If you selected and paid for services like wall-mounting or unboxing during appointment booking, a qualified technician will be assigned;
  • If no selection or payment was made, drivers may refuse to perform the service;
  • If you engage in any private agreement or cash deal with the driver, MTT is not liable for the outcome or related issues.

📌 Recommendation: Always book add-on services through the official MTT appointment system to ensure protection and proper execution.

⚠️ Special Note: Air-Cond Installation Charges

  • For air-conditioner installations, certain out-of-scope services (e.g., extended piping, wall drilling, nitrogen testing) require on-site cash payment to the installer.
  • The installer will explain and quote any additional fees at the time of installation.

📌 Please note:

  • This exception applies only to air-cond installations;
  • If you did not select “unboxing service” during appointment, the driver will not assist with unboxing and is not required to wait on-site for you to inspect the item. Drivers are responsible for continuing their delivery route and cannot accommodate unbooked service requests;
  • Rest assured, if you discover any issue after receiving the item, you may keep photo evidence and contact the seller for after-sales support or compensation.
